Also called the dumpy frog or Australian green tree frog – The Whites Tree Frogs are native to Australia and New Guinea.
They can change colors to some degree like other tree frogs. They have horizontal pupils instead of vertical pupils like most other frogs.
They secret a milky substance – called caerviein – to prevent drying out in the dry season.
They also make a cocoon.
They are insectivorous and will eat insects, arachnids and other invertebrates.
They reach up to 4 .5 inches long as adults.
