COVID Precautions

Your health and safety are of utmost importance to us!

We follow local guidelines and have a full-time janitorial staff that cleans each night. Additionally, our staff sanitizes high touch areas. Hand sanitizer can be found throughout the aquarium as well as hand washing stations inside the aquarium. Our water tables are constantly filtering chlorinated water and have UV filtration for the cleanliness of the water. 

Guest Responsibilities:

Thank you for visiting Blue Zoo. Safety is our priority. If any guest fails to abide by this code of conduct, they will be asked to leave the premises without a refund.

Please refrain from the following activities while visiting the aquarium and interacting with these animals:

  • Running (floors may be wet)
  • Hitting, kicking, poking or other disrespectful behavior while in the aquarium or interacting with our animals
  • Foul or disrespectful language

Aquarium Notice:

In the best interest for the health and safety of the animals, guests, participants and staff, Blue Zoo reserves the right to make all final animal decision, including which animals are shown and how they are presented and handled. Blue Zoo is not responsible for any injury, illness, allergy, or damage caused to persons or property in whole or in part by its animals, staff, property or representatives regardless of severity. Anytime live animals are part of a presentation, an element of risk is involved. Blue Zoo’s animals should be considered wild and unpredictable. Although rare, any animal, including those shown by Blue Zoo, may occasionally display behaviors that are considered undesirable, including but not limited to, urinating, defecating, scratching, biting or/and pinching. Animals, their dander, feathers, saliva, animal feed or bedding may cause allergic reaction in some people.

Allergy warning: the food fed to the animals may contain shellfish, seafood, peanuts and other food allergies.

Release of Liability & Waiver of all Claims:

All guests (including parents and guardians for their minor children) understand, acknowledge and agree that wild animals can be inherently dangerous. Tame animals can also be unpredictable. Participants assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, property damage, or death while visiting and participating in activities in the aquarium. Participants and/or their parent(s) or guardian(s) hereby waive any and all claims including but not limited to, bodily injury, including death and property damage they may have against Blue Zoo. Participants and /or their parent(s) or guardian(s) hereby release and hold harmless Blue Zoo,  their affiliates, partners, owners, employees, officers, and volunteers from any and all liability for any loss, damage, or expense that the Participants or their respective, heirs, assigns and legal representative my suffer as a result of Participants use of the aquarium, from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to negligence, or breach of contract on the part of Blue Zoo in the operation, supervision, design, maintenance, or condition of the aquarium. Participant agrees to abide by the Guest Responsibilities as posted within the aquarium. Failure to follow the Guest Responsibilities may result in the termination of Participant’s use of the aquarium.

Photography & Videography Notice:

You hereby waive any rights you may have to your depiction or likeness. You give the right and permission to Blue Zoo and its affiliates to photograph and/or videography you or otherwise record you image and to copyright, use, re-use, reproduce and publish such photographs, videos, or images in any format in which you may be included.
